Nica Libre has built a reputation for delivering rich flavor at a fair price, and their newest release does that in spades.
Nica Libre Esteli Especial is their first collaboration with the folks at Joya de Nicaragua, Nicaragua's oldest cigar factory. The result is a wonderful representation of the flavor profiles of both companies.
Clad in a dark chocoloate-colored Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nica Libre Esteli Especial also features a spicy Sumatra binder which surrounds a ligero-laden blend of long-fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. This is a medium to full-bodied treat that has remarkable balance. Notes of cedar, oak, baking spices and dried fruit play in perfect harmony so that no one flavor dominates. These solidly-constructed gems are reminiscent of some of the finest and priciest cigars coming from Esteli but these won't deflate your wallet. This is fast becoming a favorite among the staff at P&C and once you try one, you'll know why!
