We'll guarantee you that you've never seen pipes quite like the new Nording Harmony Freehands. It all begins with Nording's briar, which Erik Nording selects from burls cut from the Erica Arborea trees found only at the highest parts of the hillsides where they grow. Then the wood is subjected to Nording's special curing process, designed to remove as much moisture as possible, resulting in very light pipes.
The Harmony pipes are all made in Nording's signature freehand shapes, which are identifiable from across the room. They're fitted with fancy freehand-style stems to complete the distinctly Danish appearance. But where these pipes really depart from the norm is a unique new process that allows them to apply artwork to the outside of the bowl. Each one uses different art, and every pipe has a somewhat different shape, so there will never be another one exactly like the one you choose.
