Nice little pipe

What do you get when you reduce a pipe to it’s essential parts? This great little Nording. A complete opposite to the free hands that Nording is known for. Think of a cob crossed with a Falcon, and you have an idea of what this pipe is like. Metal clad briar bowl, metal stem, and removable mouthpiece. Minimalism in a pipe. Smokes very well, extremely light, and attractive. I would love to see this with a meer or meer lined bowl, or even a metal clad cob bowl, just to be able to take advantage of the modular nature of the design. If you would like something a little different in your rotation, pick up one of the Nording Sailor pipes.

I enjoyed smoking this little jewel quite well! Smokes cool, comfortable to hold, and has a durable feel. I see many, many smokes in this pipe!

Good as a novelty but not a very good pipe.

I liked this pipe because it looks nice and different. It was inexpensive, works okay and is light to hold. The metal gets hot but the plastic piece at the bottom of the bowl lets you grip it.

Something different, smokes good, needs a little breaking in but that's okay.

The Nording Sailor’s Pipe (in blue) provides a comfortable smoke delivery system. While not on the extravagant end of the financial spectrum it is a far cry from the experience of smoking a cheap pipe. The briar wood bowl offers a cooler smoke while the lightweight metal that encapsulates it protect your hands from the bowl becoming too hot. It is a welcome combination to battle against the range of temperatures one experiences while smoking a pipe. The stem is quite skinny. It looks a little annoyed sticking out of quite a large bowl but it offers a lighter carry. The mouthpiece is comfortable resting between my teeth. All in all, I believe this is a satisfactory pipe, good for a fun smoke whilst sailing the seven seas.

Smokes like a dream! A great one for the collection.

Overall this pipe is pleasing and satisfied. The bowl is quite small so don't be expecting to pack loads of tbc into it, the bowl gets a little warm but not to hot. The cup that holds the bowl stays nice and cool(however on mine is a little loose it seems). The stem however can heat up a little (not the mouth piece). The colors are outstanding and really catch the eye imo, it provides a nice cool smoke. My only main complaint would be the mouth piece could use some rounding on the edges as it feels a bit sharp on the side of my mouth. However, with this being said i'm happy to add it to my collection and weekly rotation!

Overall, Pretty good. Bowl does not get hot at the bottom, the stem however get's a bit warm, however it still provides a cool smoke. Takes a few to break in as most new ones do. The black sleeve at the bottom of the bowl feels ever so slightly loose, Very nice looking, contemporary pipe. the diameter of the hole is a bit smaller than expected so do not think you're going to pack a ton of TBC inside. My main complaint would be that the mouth piece is a bit sharp on the edges and could use some rounding off a bit for those of us who slide the sucker all the way to the side of our lips. But for the price, i'm quite pleased to throw this into my weekly rotation.

Great little pipe. I would say it is a perfect travel pipe. Lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. I decided to forego inserting a screen and had no issues with ash or tobacco coming through on the draw. I thought there would be issues with the bowl getting hot, but it was not a problem at all. I've only smoked two bowls with this so far, but can't complain. If I had to look for something to gripe about I would say the colors. Would definitely love to have this pipe in a flat earth tone like an OD green or desert tan.

Cute little pipe. Will take some breaking in. During initial bowls, the stem did not get hot (I thought it would.) The outside of the bowl did not get hot either, and I figured it would. I believe that once thoroughly broken in, this is going going to be a sweet, dry smoke. (By the way, my wife loves the look of it, and says the pipe is "really cute.")
