Norman Rockwell Santa's Surprise

Very nice blend, the flavor floats across the taste buds with No Tounge Bite, leaving a Soft Pleasant Room Note. Great smoke especially when you just want to relax and stare at your Christmas tree in all its splendor and reflect on all of our blessings during this Christmastime season. Great customer service and shipping was also spot.

Zero bite ; a little moist

Smoked this blend while putting up Christmas lights. Wife loves the room note. Pleasant blend with moderate fruit over all friendly aromatic to to please a wide range of pallets.

Love it. Smells like a British Christmas pudding cake. Raisins or plums and spices. On the retro you get it. Very festive. I could smoke this year round when I want an aromatic.

Really enjoyed this one. Glad I bought two tins. Very smooth and no tongue bite. I keep this one for late night smokes in the back yard when its just me and the pups.

I always smoke a few bowls in different pipes before deciding on what I think of any new tobacco. Santa's Surprise is very mild and pleasant tasting tobacco but it doesn't have the aroma that I had expected. The smell in the tin is more of a fruit cake/plum pudding than of Christmas spices but it certainly reminds me of the holidays. The biggest issue with smoking this stuff right from the tin is the moisture content. This is the most difficult tobacco to keep lit that I've ever experienced. It really needs to be aged/dried a bit.

This was very good. No bite is a plus and the taste is quite good. aroma makes one feel like Santa is near!!!

I'm not a big aromatic fan and Cavendish for whatever reason usually gives me tongue bite. This is not the case in this blend. It was smooth, it was not harsh, and it did not bite. The topping/casing lasted until almost the bottom of the bowl. The room note is pleasant and the wife liked the note almost as much as 1Q (she really loves 1Q although it is not my favorite). This is great for those who are courteous of those around them during the holiday that do not want to enjoy a pipe of less pleasant smelling blends. I will probably pick up another tin from my local B&M if they still have some available and see how it ages until the next holiday season.

Good Christmas blend

I enjoyed cracking the tin to smell the aromatic tobacco as much as I enjoyed the flavor of it on my back porch as the snow fell for the first time at my new house. My service dog would look up at me. Prancing almost on her front paws trying to get a better whiff of the smoke that was wafting just to far above her head to get at between her moments of catching snow. I let her get a good smell of the tin. She seemed to lighten up at it with a big smile on her face. I wondered if that is what I looked like when I first smelled Norman Rockwell's Tin. Thank You.

Has a subtle holiday spice that really comes through nicely. Very enjoyable and smooth with a very neat tin portrait.

This tobacco is very mellow. Nutty and sweet and it has a nice room note. If your in the mood for a nice aromatic that isn’t harsh this is it.

A bit pricey, but for a collector it's worth it.
