Following the success of Ole Shenandoah Barrel No. 76 and Bootlegged , we're excited about Ole Shenandoah Appalachian Harvest. The blend is mostly, soft, smooth black Cavendish, with the addition of sweet bright Virginia. It's finished with a zesty splash of berry essence for a tantalizingly tasty flavor and an outstanding room note. For those times when only a super-aromatic blend will do, Ole Shenandoah Appalachian Harvest is the ideal choice.

If your tired of the same old flavors, this is one you got to try!! Lightly aromatic and quite a room pleaser. The flavor is a mixture of burley and berries, great for a lazy afternoon puff session. I had my doubts, but Appalachian harvest will remain one of my go to flavors for the foreseeable future. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this for my husband. He loved it and for me the smell is pleasant as for the most part I do not like the smell of tobacco

A great all day smoke.
Appalachian Harvest is the best of breed for the Ole Shenandoah line. Wonderful tin note and room note. Burns well with few relights. The casing is not as heavy as Appalachian Berry and allows the tobacco to come through in the smoking experience. The taste is consistent to the bottom of the bowl.

A pleasant smoke, nice tin and room notes.
Straight off this is my second foray into aromatics, the first was a bloody disaster mainly because I smoke English tobaccos, I bought this on a lark, mainly because of the sale price. I was surprised, mellow, not over powering tin note, pleasant room note. Let it air for 15 minutes, a slight bite, slow burn and stays lit. I’m still puffing away on my first bowl, slight gurgling mainly I didn’t let it air for 15 minutes, the bowl is slightly warm, a bent Crown pipe that bought specifically for smoking aromatics. I will buy this one again.

This stuff is great. Worth the price and worth a try, to see if you like it. It was my favorite of the Ole Shenandoahs.

Taste is great, if in stock
This seems to be a problem with this tobacco and company, not in stock, frustrating.

The Autumn Winner Is Here!
Excellent aromatic that is a staple for Autumn and late summer smoking pleasure.

Quite good for the price
Mild and tasty but may need to be dried out a bit to keep puddles from forming at the bottom of the bowl. Would definitely buy again.

Ole Shenandoah, Appalachian Harvest
It's a very friendly blend to the casual smoker. It's mild, good room note, very little if any bite and burns very well down to a fine ash. That's probably too many 'verys', but I did enjoy the smoke and ordered more.

Not for me
Swing and miss. While I'm not a fan of this blend after giving it a good try, it is a quality product. Tin note is light, room note heavy but didnt really get a taste for it. Burns excellent, no bite. Im giving 5 star because it's not the companies fault it doesnt fit my pallet. Again this is a excellent burning tobacco, well packaged and delivers a hunted berry note. It just didnt strike my fancy, but it could be your next go to product if it is to your taste. I'll be trying more blends from them. Excellent quality

The Appalachian experience
Smooth and very satisfying. Light and mellow beginning , with a tasty finish. A little bite to it, but then again; all tobaccos have a bite. I smoke like i live ( hard ). That's how you get the most from life

Wonderful tobacco!
Ole Shenandoah Appalachian Harvest is a very pleasant smoke. Smooth and no bite. Nice tin and room note with just the right amount of cherry in the background that lasts the whole bowl. Not overpowering or chemical tasting like most cherry tobaccos. Good tobacco flavor with the soft burleys, an all around very enjoyable smoke. I will definitely keep this in my rotation as a favorite go to. Smokes equally well in a cob or briar. Love it in my Italian Torino briar.

Great taste -- mild and flavorful. I alternate this with Captain Black Original. I wish it came in a larger, economical size.

very berry indeed!
My first Ole Shenadoah tobacco that I have tried. I rather enjoyed it, it has a very strong flavor of berries. Lights easy, has no harsh bite. I look forward to trying other Ole Shenadoah products.

Really Good Smoke
You can really smell the berries in the tin note; haven't figured out what kind of berry though. Kinda reminds me of some sort of berry jam? The room note is outstanding with no tongue bite. I ordered this along with the "Barrel 76" which I like better. Overall this is a really good relaxing smoke. burns cool all the way to the bottom of the bowl.

Great Stuff!
Smokes cool even straight out of the tin. Lightly sweet and mild with just a hint of tart berry on the tail.
