Ole Shenandoah Lawless Sampler

Like a train robber after a big heist, sometimes it pays to be Lawless.

The Ole Shenandoah Lawless Sampler includes a tin of the original Ole Shenandoah Barrel No. 76, a wildly popular, bite-free aromatic with the warm, sweet flavor and aroma of cookies baking. To that, we're adding a tin of the brand-new Ole Shenandoah Bootlegged, which shares the cool, gentle-smoking nature of Barrel No. 76 with a rich, dark fruit note that will please folks on both ends of the pipe. Each one of these blends is a steal at $6.99 each, but in this Lawless Sampler, you get both for only $9.99! Don't you think it's time to pull the cork on these superb blends?

Ole Shenandoah Lawless Sampler
Tobacco and wine reviews are very subjective. No two people will have the same experience. That's why I seldom give my opinion on either. However, there are some of both that deserve praise.and others complete ridicule. I prefer an American burley tobacco. I also like sherry in any form it comes in. I also like straight rye whiskey and bourbon. The word "blend" means that whatever it is, the blend is intended to be meant as just that. You can not pick out the individual parts because it just tastes like a blend of all the components. There are some tobaccos that are a step above all the rest. The professional blenders seem like they know what they are doing and we will taste their products and either have a good experience or not. Peter Stokkebey does some wonderful things to burley. They are the best I have found other than my long time favorite, Prince Albert. The remainder of them are utter failures. That includes most of the Match blends by Suttlif. The facts about the Ole Shenandoah tobaccos. I've yet to find one I don't like. To me, they are some of the best on the market. Ole Shenandoah Barrel No. 76 and Ole Shenandoah Bootlegged are both wonderful, full bodied, tasty and easy to smoke blends. My recommendation is to try them both. If you like American aromatics, then you'll love both.

This has been my choice
This has been my choice of pipe tobacco for about the last year and a half. A good smooth smoke, pleasant room aroma (which means my wife likes it), and stays lit.

A great sampler from Ole Shenandoah
You just can't get any better for the price and quality of this tobacco.

Two of our favorites
Both suit us well. Bootleg has a bit more sweet whisky flavor to it and 76 seems a little more mellow on the whiskey sweet taste. Both have a wonderful aroma. We love them!

Great Deal for Great Tobacco.
Very please with both of these tobaccos. Bootlegged to me has a very pleasant lemon cake taste with a hint of cherry and strawberry. 76 is sure to become a staple.

Newbie loves Bootlegger
Full Disclosure, I am a newer pipe smoker and still am learning about different tobaccos and which ones fit my taste. I must say that Bootlegger has been my favorite flavored tobacco because the hint of berry is not overpowering and the people around me say it smelled amazing as I was smoking it. I highly recommend these tobaccos for a novice because of zero tongue bite and the pleasant taste.

Just Great.
They are both outstanding. Bootlegger is just a shade better, but you cant go wrong here. Buy these you wont be disappointed.

What a steal of a deal!
I bought this social deal 2fer partly bc it was so cheap & bc of good reviews for each product in the pack. I really didn't expect much. Man oh man was I surprised. The 76 is a very easy going, laid back smoke with zero bite. Tastes like it smells, subdued yet pleasant. About what I expected. A good tobacco, nothing outstanding, but a simple enjoyable smoke. The Bootleg, oh man the Bootleg really made the deal. That stuff tastes wonderful. It leaves a very nice aftertaste, smokes ultra smooth and is a perfect anytime smoke. It's one of my favorite blends right now, and I'm about to order more before this 2-fee deal goes away. I am very glad I tried this pack. Both blends are good, Bootleg is great. Your mileage may vary, but I am really enjoying this tobacco, and the ultra low price right now makes buying more a no-brainier.

very good smoke
Tobacco is tasty and has very little bite. I tend to chain smoke so this is a major plus.

Get this deal!
Great value for two great tobaccos! The Bootlegged has a nice confectionary flavor and smell. Nice lemony zest to it. The Barrel No. 76 is the smoothest smoke I've (almost) ever had.

mild
I didn't like the tobbacos as much as I'd hoped. The quality was good, pack and burn excellent, but the flavors just weren't there for me.

Fantastic!
Both flavors of the lawless sampler are very good. Great room note, burns cool and not hard to light. These two tobaccos I will be keeping in stock at all times.

Ole Shenandoah
The Lawless sampler was a great way to try some new tobacco. The 76 will quickly become a regular smoke for me as it lives up to all the reviews I have read. Mild, great flavor, no bite, and no bitterness. The Bootlegged blend was a bit too sweet for my palate. Enjoyable but not my style

GREAT !!!!
This is my favorite tobacco. Very mild and flavorful. I mix then together to make my favorite blend.

Just. Just. Blown Away!
Ok. Where do i start! Barrel number 76. It is nice. subtle, nutty, like flakey pie crust. Moisture is great, aroma is off the charts. It has a soft room note. I love it. now.... bootlegged..... If you like a mild cherry flavor.... this is your blend. Its Fruity, Damp, Smokey, Salivating. The rooms notes are cherry on the front with some orchard like scent and light wind in the background. I imagine the amish crushing cherry juice into a cider. Or the amish ladies pulling out a fresh baked cherry pie...... now.... here is the frosting of this cake that is Ole Shenandoah!.... the supreme thing i like to do. Mix em! It tastes just like Cherry tart! Smells like it too! trust me. Just do it! Will be buying again!

Lawless Sampler
Really good tobacco and what attracted me to it was the price, 2 tins for price of one. Glad P&C offers this deal cause I can't get it local. Actually my go to tobacco shop can get Ole Shenandoah but not offer a deal like this. If you enjoy relaxing give it a try. Both were quit pleasing to me and if I didn't like it I know I could find someone would. I will buy this again.

Shenandoah Lawless...
Well, I loved Barrel no. 76, so I figured that the Bootlegged add-on would be good. Not as good as I had hoped. Nothing specifically "bad" just not "great". I will stick with Barrel no. 76

Went once, going twice, SOLD!
It was good enough that I bought it again! Not one person I had smoked either blend around had anything negative to say about either. I loved the flavor & aroma of both and that they burned down all the way without burning too hot.

Ole Shenandoah...Great Smokin" and Great Price to Try These Two
Well OK then. I was dubious about these two but WOW! The Bootlegged is absolutely wonderful "cherry-ish" blend that is now one of my favs. The Barrel #76 is a fuller bodied aromatic that is also near the top of my list, but it was the Bootlegged that hit the home run for me even though I don't consider myself a Cherry fan. BTW, I just ordered this combo again!

Great value
Ole Shenandoah is a decent blend of bought vanilla and dark flavored fruit in the bootlegged tin.. The flavored are there and the tobacco is near bite free.. Great quality for great price.. One of the better aromatics for the price

Great smoke!
both flavors smoke really well, no bite, and good room note.

Meh
Meh. I'm sort of going off aromatics, but they have a nice quality, one sort of cherry and they other lemon or something. Not my thing really, I prefer the original to the other one, it smokes cooler

Great Tobacco
Both are great tobaccos. They burn well and open up to a nicely balanced aroma, with mild flavors that enhance the good tobacco. Can't go wrong with this sampler.

I enjoy being an Outlaw
Hard to find fault with 2 tins for the price - I favor the Bootlegged variety but the 76 blend is by no means a bad one. If you are looking for an aromatic blend that's not too "topped" or flavored I'd say give these a try. If you try hard enough these blends might bite a little but if you're patient it will reward with a sweet smooth smoke. The consistency out of the tin was on the moist side but still will light easily and stays lit.
Customer Testimonials
I am new to pipe smoking so I tried a few different tobaccos when I bought my first pipe, a MM Legend cob. I fell in love with these two right away! I like the original the best but both are great. Very pleasant mild smoke, my wife even commented on how great it smells! These are the only tobaccos I will be buying in the future and you can't beat the price either!
Gotta try these! You won't be disappointed!
Hi Bobby and all you followers of tobacco..its a great time to check out the Lawless Sampler by Ole Shenandoah(462 ... ....)..these tobacco's rock....you can fire em up and smoke all day and never tire of the great taste..462 all.
I wanted to try this because the description basically said it was sweet and very smooth, and they weren't lying. I'm still relatively knew to pipe smoking, but these two have definitely been my favorite so far. Keep up the good work!
I love this tobacco. I've always loved the original, but the new bootlegged is very good too. Very different with its fruit note. It said "dark fruit", but I thought it was lighter and tangy. I really enjoyed it. The best thing about both of these tobaccos is that they taste like they smell in the tin. Definitely worth the money!
These two were better than the others I have ordered. Although it seems that my expectations for an aromatic with a strong "room note" are to high. This tobacco does have a nice flavor. and burns well.
