Saison, the latest offering from Oliva, is a medium bodied delight yielding a perfectly even burn and robust notes of leather, cedar, and a bit of pepper. An inviting reddish bronze Ecuadorian Habano wrapper meets a rich blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers taken from the first harvest in 2009. This very well balanced and refined smoke from Oliva follows right in line with their near-perfect track record and does so at quite a modest price.
