OK, I understand some say this mixture is not exactly the same as Golden Flake, well that may be,(and I do prefer Golder Flake when i have time to rub it out and let it dry a bit). But, that said, this is one of my favorites when I need to stuff and puff. Very satisfying indeed.

An easy going smoke. To be enjoyed in between other blends with stronger characteristics in term of flavor. The only drawback is that if it is not smoked rapidly, it tends to dry up fairly quickly in the tin. I have ordered it several times but I think I will go back to Orlik Golden Sliced.

Upon opening the tin, it had a pleasant Tin Note of Citrus and a Hay smell, when lit it left a peppery Taste and Grass like aroma for a Room Note, Damp at first but After letting the Tin set a Few Days it got to be Easy to Light and Keep Lit...NO BITE and it smoked well and Long in a Bigger Bowl...Would buy again and recommend..Good price as well..

Orlik Golden Mixture IS very similar to Golden sliced...but different. Straight our of the can it packs easily and smokes well, light and summery, like a very well rubbed out version of Golden Sliced is the best way to describe it. Now one of my favorites.

Nice stuff and immediately reminded me of Mac Baren's Golden Extra. Stays lit and offers no bite. It's a subtle aromatic, not sweet or soupy and will have its place when I take a break from my preferred English blends.

Yes, I'm into English blends, but I like this stuff! From the first bowl, it reminded me of MacBarens Golden Extra and I enjoy that as well. Orlik is mild, easy on the tongue and burns well. For me, it is not an everyday, all day tobacco, but certainly has it's place. If you like Danish aromatics, this will be a pleasant experience.

Great blend. Zero tongue bite. Room note is pretty pleasant. As far as taste goes very mild. Sweet Virginia with some cavendish detected. If you like Virginia flakes, but are looking for something with a mild aromatic note this is your baccy. My everyday smoke in a savinelli 320

Poor cousin of Orlik Golden Sliced which is far more flavorful and mellow. I didn't detect any of nice flavor of figs present in Sliced. Mixture is also drier on the palate.

I don't know if it was just the pipe I was smoking it out of or it was the tobacco but this stuff kinda knocked my socks off, Great taste and all but it made me dizzy quick, I would definitely recommend this to someone who's a little more advanced in pipe smoking. Over all it was great.
