Padilla has had a lot of hits over the years, and one that I remember doing particularly well on P&C was 1932 Black. For whatever reason, those dark and tasty Nicaraguan-made cigars disappeared as quickly as they arrived. Fortunately, Padilla 1932 Black is back, and just as good as I recall.
These are medium to full-bodied gems, with a four-region core of Nicaraguan long-fillers, all held in place by a Nicaraguan binder. The wrapper is a dark, dusky San Andres maduro capa, renowned for delivering rich, round flavor. These great-looking cigars are chock full of robust flavor, with notes of espresso, baker's chocolate, roasted nuts, wood, earth and sweet spices. For anyone who tried this blend in the past and has longed for its return, it's time to celebrate!
