The folks at Pinar del Rio have brought a number of boutique beauties to the P&C Faithful for some time now. How they keep coming up with delicious cigars that aren't ridiculously expensive is beyond me, but I'm not complaining. The PDR 1878 Capa Sun Grown Reserva Dominicana (whew, there's a mouthful) is a flavorful, medium-bodied morsel, featuring a tawny Dominican Habano wrapper laid over long-fillers grown in the Dominican, including Habano, Criollo 98 and Corojo. The cigars are made using the entubar method which delivers a smooth draw, a clean burn and packs more tobacco into each cigar for a luxuriously long experience. You can expect notes of leather, oak, sweet spices and a bit of pepper. Give this one a try - you'll thank us.
