Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Flake is a matured, pressed mixture of golden, sweet Virginias with bold and spicy dark-fired Kentucky. The flavor is smooth and rich, but this is a robust and brawny blend that is best suited to experienced pipe smokers.
Licorice, molasses, and bold with a bit of spice. This would be appealing to Virginia, Kentucky, and aromatic lovers. I like it both rubbed & folded into a large-bowl briar. Excellent.

This is a strong smoke'. You need to be in the mood for it. It smoked well and I didn't have to relight it. Nice if you are in the mood.

Early Morning Delight

Very nice early morning smoke with coffee. Burns clean all the way to bottom of bowl leaving nice white ash. Will be purchasing more to cellar. Pipe used: Balkovec Stubby Billiard

WOW!! this stuff really doesnt have that nice spicey dark fired kentucky that they clam but it is a darn good flake. It has a great tin note, based on smell alone you would swear that it had cavendish in it but it does not. So far it smokes great out of all the 30+ pipes I have, my calabash is by far the pipe for this blend.
i have over 50 opened tins jarred up and ive gone through a 7oz tin in less than 3 weeks if that tells you how good it is. this is def one of my deserted island smokes.
