I don't get the natural part. Good quality misnamed Stokkebye aromatic with a light cassia-champagne top note.

Pretty much what I expected. A lightly cased Virginia / Burley blend. Seems to be quite young. 6 months to a year age on it should do it. Seems no matter what tobaccos I try, I always gravitate back to Stokkebye.

I have been a pipe smoker for over 50 years and like a long cut without added flavoring and at a cost I can afford, Peter Stokkebye 1 Natural has good quietly gold and some black that to me makes for a very pleasant smoke.

Wonderfull all day smoke. Mild, absolutely no bite, packs and burns well, great aroma and taste. Very close to the old amphora regular (brown package). I normaly smoke English blends, #1 Natural is a very comforting rotation. I will order this again in larger amounts.

By itself it isn't too interesting but mix it with a vanilla or other lightly flavored Cavendish and the nutty Burley comes through about mid-bowl. Also excellent as a condiment to lighten dark blends.

Not Bad but Not Much Flavor

Tried this for RYO along with 12 others. Rolled up just fine. I rated Stokkebye Natural about 7th or 8th among these 12. Nothing offensive about the taste, a little fruity and mellow. But it burned so slow and light that I had to hot box it to get a hit with any flavor. or presence. There are too many other blends to bother with this one.

I just started smoking a pipe after 30+ year break. I ordered PS 1 Natural,on a suggestion from P&C staff. The first bowl in my new Churchwarden, was not to my liking, but after a few more bowls I guess the taste and aroma came around. It burns very nice,easy to light and over all a nice smoke. Ran out, a new order in the works.5 stars
