Peter Stokkebye 24 Nougat

Peter Stokkebye No. 24 Nougat is a classic Danish-style aromatic made of bright Virginias, white Burley and sweet black Cavendish. What makes it so unique is the combination of vanilla and chocolate flavors that give it a great room note and a subtly sweet taste. Nougat is one of Stokkebye's warmest, mellowest aromatics.

Took a little bit I enjoyed
It took a while for me to enjoy the flavor of this. I will completely admit it was my fault however. I was smoking this much to hot and really could find little to no flavor. Then one day, idk I just did it right and I was blown away buy how good it was. Soft nutty smooth nougat, and a cool slow smoke. I would recommend this.

Its ok. Smells like nougat, but doesn't taste like it.

Smoke like a hobbit
Allegedly, this is the tobacco used on the set of The Lord of the Rings, so I had to have some. It is my new favorite aromatic (perhaps a biased opinion?). I was quite surprised by this blend; no harsh chemical PG goop flavor or sharpness, in fact a nice pleasant basic (albeit light) tobacco flavor is noted. Smells amazing in the bag, lights very easy, no need to dry it out first as it was an appropriate moisture right out of the bag. Room note is chocolatey. Just add this to your cart right now.

Yummy Aromatic Blend ☆☆☆☆☆
Pipes & Cigars carry some of my favorite pipe tobacco blends. One being Trout Stream, another is Labrador, from E.Nordings Hunter Series. The problem is these two particular blends seem to always be out of stock and on back order. This is what led me to find Peter Stokkebye(24) Nougat : It is a very pleasant Aromatic with Snappy Red & YellowVirginia's mixed with just enough of a bright, nutty tasting, slow burning Burley, blended and adorned with a mildly vanilla-like sweet, enduring Cavendish treatment. P.S.24N. Has a very pleasant room note and a great mellow taste that satisfies most of the aromatic smoker within me. I gave it 5 stars because it is real, and not pretentious in any way. This is a great "all day" smoke and one that I will return to often. thank you, Alix°

Sweet but not too sweet
I enjoyed it. I'm generally a fan of automatics though. It's sweet, but not too sweet

Great stuff
Loved this tobacco. Used to buy a tobacco similar to this in Johnson City, TN. but they went out of business. I'm glad I found a good replacement. Wonderful aroma and the taste is also very good. Burns well and no tongue bite. Will definitely be buying more.

Wonderful....
Smooth, full and aromatic. Reminded me of the smells of early morning German chocolate shop. Nice aromatic of my time over seas

Peter Stokkebye 24 Nougat
I really did not like this mix. Not my cup of tea, I guess. Can't wait to try some others.

Smooth Sweet Smoke (3S)
It's nothing especially awesome, but it is smooth and sweet. It's definitely got some black cavendish in it. It's also got a bit of chocolatiness to it. Pleasant room note. People have positively remarked on it if they walk into my office after a smoke.

A great value aromatic.
Nice aroma with none of the bite that can be had with many aromatics. Like all of the other Peter Stokkebye tobaccos I've tried from P&C, this comes with the perfect amount of moisture and is a great value.

Very subtle
A little disappointed as the aroma was very subtle, perhaps a aromatic for a more developed smoker?

Still The Best
I've been smoking PS Nougat for nearly 25 years. Still the smoothest, easiest all day smoke I have ever found and I've tried a lot of different blends, manufacturers and attempts to copy it. For the money, I've not found anything better.

Smooth and no bite.

my favorite
This may be a cheaper tobacco, but for the money it is a poor man's quality smoke.

My Favorite Stokkebye Blend!
I love this blend! A room note everyone loves, a great flavor and after taste that always leaves me wanting more. Rich coca and berries with a hint of vanilla, full tobacco body! Try this!

Great smoke and service
#24 out-shines everything else I have ever tried. The sites service and delivery are great and the prices are good - easy to order over other sites. Try this blend for a fantastic aroma and feel.

Nice on a chilly, autumn evening. . .
To be fair I must admit I'm more into English than aromatics. But, wanting to expand my palate I decided to give this a try. Right out of the bag I didn't dislike it, but it was just ok. Pleasant aroma, however. Meanwhile I placed it to the back of my aromatic stash & forgot about it. When I tried it a few months later I found it to be far more enjoyable--even nice on the retrohale. This is one I seem to enjoy more as I get further down the bowl. I usually smoke it in a Mr. Brog Chochla. I've also like blending it with a little H&H Snowdrift. I will likely buy it again.

A great smoke. One you can use all day and not get "bitten"
Customer Testimonials
I am very new to smoking pipes. As a historic reenactor, I chose a pipe then shopped for a filler. I tried this blend and really liked it. Perhaps a bit harsh at first until I learned to appreciate the subtleties. Living in Vegas, I took my pipe and this blend to my favorite casino. There were no complaints from those around me.
I was excited to find this blend, as it was what my Father smoked when I was growing up. Yes, part of the appeal is due to some sentimentality. However, if you have any experience with multiple pipe blends, you know that the odds of getting a dud can be pretty high. Unlike many others, Nougat is sweet before and while burning. It's also a wonderfully mellowed leaf that retains the right amount of moisture that, without, will quickly kill the experience. The first draw gives a solid aroma and mixes the taste throughout the bowl. It will continue to gain heat until the last 15-20% of your load. I strongly recommend keeping one pipe for this blend alone; any time that I've mixed another, I felt that I'd polluted the effect. Light on bowl resin (it burns completely to a fine ash), however your stem will benefit from an inline filter, as I found a lot of build-up after 5-6 bowlfuls. Nougat is never harsh, yet plenty of nicotine. I truly love the room note. Perfect for smoke rings!
This is good stuff. I am usually a non-aromatic smoker. I love stokkebye's so I grabbed 4 ounces for a change of pace. If and when I smoke aromatics its usually in the summer. This is a light and smooth smoke, white ash all the way down with hints of vanilla and chocolate, no nasty casing. The tobacco is the front and dominate taste, no bite and lit right up.
I was so excited about ordering some of this that as soon as it came in a packed a bowl, and was let down a little. I had never bought any Stokkebye tobacco and was dying to try some. I was a tiny but disappointed when I tried it right out of the bag. I put it in a jar and let it sit a few days and now it is fantastic. While it is an aromatic and sweet, it doesn't leave you wanting. You want more, but nothing less. It is a full bodied pipe tobacco with a wonderful taste and pleasant aftertaste. I will definitely make this a regular.
