Do you like Virginia’s?
If you’re thinking about trying this as an intro to English blends (or if you prefer more mild English blends) I want to encourage you to pick up an ounce! I’m a VA/VaPer/VaBur kind of guy and love this English! As others said, smells MUCH stronger than it tastes (which is good!), burns on the quick side but stays cool. Flavors are of Latakia and Oriental initially (not overpowering at all), but they quickly fade to showcase the beautiful Virginia’s. Retro-hale is always pleasant. This is definitely going to become a favorite of yours!

Very Good
I'm smoking a bowl full now as I write this. I enjoy it's smokiness and the nutty flavor that comes through. It smokes cool with little to no bite. Bought an ounce to try, going to be buying more.

Magnificent!
This smells 100 times stronger in the bag, than when it is lit. The flavors are rich and smooth. My first time trying english blends, I sampled 1 ounce, I'm going to order alot more! My son tried it, first time pipe smoker, he is in love as well. Bravo!

Excellent English Oriental
Peter Stokkebye 306 English Oriental Supreme has become my primary tobacco. I've tried many blends in the past years and prefer this one over any other, including the expensive tinned brands. It smokes very cool with no bite and has a nice full flavor, that is not to harsh. If you like Oriental and Latakia, you'll love this blend.

First try on English Oriental
I the past I have always smoked areomatics. This summer I tried some English blends and since I have not turned back. I have smoked 965 and some others. This is my first try smoking 306. It was very enjoyable and different from 965. I love 965. I taste less latakia with this but that is OK. This is a solid mixture and will most likely order again. I am not sure if this is for the beginner or not. It burned down to a light grey ash. I smoked it in a now cob but will try in a briar next and am sure I will enjoy there also.

This English Oriental really is Supreme
This is now my favorite English blend .. hands down. I love Latakia.. but not a fan of lat bombs.. I love English and oriental blends... and in this blend you get all three. The pouch note is smokey but does not overwhelm. The cut is perfect as is the moisture .. no drying time needed which is good because I can never seem to be patient enough to wait. Tried this in my Mr. Brog Amigo.. yes a Brog... hey a good tobacco will taste great in anything and I do love this little pipe. From first light to the white ash at the bottom of the bowl.. the entire experience is warm.. friendly and relaxing. You get a nice little hint of sweetness that adds to the experience and I can honestly say I could puff on this all day long and never get tired. You could spend more for those super brands in a fancy tin.. but why... Peter Stokkebye really created a spectacular blend here that you really must try. Two Thumbs Up.

English Oriental Supreme, Bulk
I have smoked the Stokkebye English and flake products for years. In my view, the Stokkebye bulk English blends (Oriental) are the best all around English blends going, excellent tobacco at an excellent price point. I do not like one more than another, all depends on the mood I am in. I keep seven tobacco jars that I turned out of matching wood on my mantle and pick the one I want at that moment.

The Swiss Army Knife of Smoke
This mixture has everything: easy pack, stays lit, burns cool, and offers complex favors that don't compete with each other but rather harmonise. Perfect!

Superb, well balanced blend
Have smoked the Proper english blend for more than a year. This is very nice change of pace. A richer blend, a pleasant reminder of the old Rattray's blends. Very pleased.

Great Smoke, great value, great buy.
This has really become my "go to" smoke. It is amazingly easy to smoke, with a wonderful room note of that oriental floral scent. This is always in my rotation, and I smoke it more than any of the other tobaccos. I love this stuff, and it is so easy on the wallet. I usually smoke this in one of my Nording Group 4 freehands.

Pipes and cigars, and peter stoke bye 306
after my local tobacco store began shorting me on the weight of my order I decided to try buying on line. Pipes and cigars had a free shipping special so I gave them a shot. They shipped when they said they would and were 1/4 ounce in my favor for two pounds. Stokkebye 306 is an excellent product for non aromatic smokers like myself. I highly recommend Pipes and Cigars and Peter Stokkebyes 306

Too much black cav
Some flavors can be teased out of this if it is smoked excruciatingly slow. Smokes cool even if smoked hard, but, there is no reason to. Seems light on the burley as well. Possibly batch related. A more refined palate than mine may find this blend superb. The aftertaste is excellent! Will try this again in the future, until then, I'll tinker with this blend a little.

Not Quite There
Not bad, but a bit harsh, as aromatics, which Stokkebye's 306 English Oriental Supreme "isn't", can be. It also has the moisture of an aromatic. I suspect that one or the other leaves in the blend has an additive. Interestingly, addition of circa 15% of a Dunhill (e.g. 965) greatly improves the experience.

spiced up Proper English
This is somewhat similar in appearance and flavor to PS Proper English. The main difference being that while PS is a mild mannered English gentleman, English Oriental Supreme brings a touch of Central Asia to the party. That (to me) means a bit of spiciness in the smoke. Mostly it is noticeable about half way through the bowl. It is subtle and sort of sneaks up on you so that you are just going along minding your own business and then you suddenly notice a little tingle on your tongue and sinuses. It isn't tongue bite, just a little tingle. Over all I like this tobacco on occasion, but I don't think it could be my all day, every day smoke. Four stars because variety is the "spice" of life.

My new favorite
Since trying some of this a couple of months ago, all the English blends I've loved in the past seem a little less special. I could smoke this every day for the rest of my life and never smoke anything else. Everything is balanced with nothing in particular really overpowering the other tobaccos. Even my mainstays of Old Dublin and Nightcap take a backseat to Oriental Supreme. Pack a bowl and puff away with a smile on your face.

P.S. English Oriental Supreme
A wonderful english! The Latakia strength is just right when you're not in the mood for a Latakia bomb. Everything melds together very nice. I'm no iexpert by any means, but a must have for my cellar and definitely worth trying. Worst case scenario would be to add a leaf of your choice to customize it.

Smooth English
This is a nice smooth English blend. The cavendish helps to mellow it out. And there is enough latakia to give it some spice. A good change of pace blend.

Sweet English?
This one is confusing. I was expecting an English blend with latakia being prevalent. I was supposed to find that this tobacco was sweet, with that leather latakia flavor just coming through on the end. It was a very pleasant surprise. Defiantly recommend.

quality tobacco at a reasonable price
I tried this for an everyday smoke thinking it would be similar to my mixture 965, it is, but a little milder (not nearly as mild as EMP though). It still has enough nicotine to settle the craving, plenty of good flavor throughout the bowl. This isn't an extremely complex tobacco but it does have enough "english / oriental" flavor to make it satisfying and pleasant. i will definitely be buying more of this to use as my everyday smoke. Great quality, great price.

Looking for a summer latakia blend
Let me preface this with the admission that I like Larry's Blend (very strong English) and was looking for a lighter Latakia blend for the Summer. After several bowls--all about the same in different pipes--they all packed fine and burned evenly. Good full flavored taste but light on the latakia. No nic buzz that is important as I cannot take a heavy nicotine dose. I did not notice any sweetness but enjoyed the full flavor.

VERY FINE SMOKE
Smokes dry, cool, and without tongue bite. Easy to keep lit, and burns down to a nice, gray ash. I like a lot of Latakia, so I cut this with PS Black Latakia. Usually Latakia:EO, 1:3 or 1:4. And I think the flavor is drastically improved. For me, this tocacco prefers to be smoked in a pot. I could smoke this all day.
Customer Testimonials
Got a sample, then rushed to grab a couple pounds. This is wonderfully complex and rather on the mild side, for when I'm wanting mellow & complex. Alas, it's been backordered.
I am a fan of the Stokkebye blends but this one just didn't stand out .. although it wasnt bad, I probably wont order more.
Well balanced, enough to let the orientals play a great role.
Bought this stuff a year ago as a 1 oz. sample and was really good, so I bought 5 more ounces and just stopped smoking for about a year ago and just started back a month ago. So it has been in a bag the whole time. Its different now. Mellowed out more and is just really sweet but still good. Only problem is now it burns hot now and bites me now some. Still enjoy it but not as much. Next time I'm going to buy 2 fresh ounces and see if it is different. BTW it never dried out in the bag which was surprising...
I love the smoky note of this smooth tobacco
I am a big fan of English mixes and this is my favourite by far. It is a nice cool smoke with a slight spicy bite to it. The slight spicy flavour is that of cinnamon. I simply love this mix.
Great blend.
I am quickly becoming a fan of Peter Stokkebye tobaccos. As a relatively new pipe smoker I have been trying several different blends and of all the ones I have tried my two favorites that I have settled on so far are Peter Stokkebye 47 Dansk Black (for aromatic) and this blend Peter Stokkebye 306 English Oriental Supreme for an English blend. These two blends have allowed me to have trusty fall back tobaccos that I KNOW I will enjoy at any time which now gives me the freedom to branch out and try other new blends! And something must also be mentioned of the fact that Peter Stokkebye bulk tobaccos are much easier on the wallet than some of the other premiums I have tried (and not liked as much). That's a definite plus for me!
