Peter Stokkebye’s English Oriental Supreme is a rich but gentle blend of excellent bright Virginias, mellow white Burley, smooth black Cavendish and Cyprian Latakia which creates plenty of sweet and smoky flavor is a very well-behaved mixture. English Oriental Supreme has been one of their most popular gentle Latakia blends for many years.
Got a sample, then rushed to grab a couple pounds. This is wonderfully complex and rather on the mild side, for when I'm wanting mellow & complex. Alas, it's been backordered.
I am a fan of the Stokkebye blends but this one just didn't stand out .. although it wasnt bad, I probably wont order more.
Well balanced, enough to let the orientals play a great role.
Bought this stuff a year ago as a 1 oz. sample and was really good, so I bought 5 more ounces and just stopped smoking for about a year ago and just started back a month ago. So it has been in a bag the whole time. Its different now. Mellowed out more and is just really sweet but still good. Only problem is now it burns hot now and bites me now some. Still enjoy it but not as much. Next time I'm going to buy 2 fresh ounces and see if it is different. BTW it never dried out in the bag which was surprising...
I love the smoky note of this smooth tobacco
I am a big fan of English mixes and this is my favourite by far. It is a nice cool smoke with a slight spicy bite to it. The slight spicy flavour is that of cinnamon. I simply love this mix.
Great blend.
I am quickly becoming a fan of Peter Stokkebye tobaccos. As a relatively new pipe smoker I have been trying several different blends and of all the ones I have tried my two favorites that I have settled on so far are Peter Stokkebye 47 Dansk Black (for aromatic) and this blend Peter Stokkebye 306 English Oriental Supreme for an English blend. These two blends have allowed me to have trusty fall back tobaccos that I KNOW I will enjoy at any time which now gives me the freedom to branch out and try other new blends! And something must also be mentioned of the fact that Peter Stokkebye bulk tobaccos are much easier on the wallet than some of the other premiums I have tried (and not liked as much). That's a definite plus for me!
We know that there are lots of Peter Stokkebye fans out there because tons of their bulk tobaccos go out our doors every year. What better way for you to store these blends and keep them at the ready than the Peter Stokkebye Ceramic Jar? This rich, crimson red ceramic jar uses a wire bail enclosure and a silicone gasket to keep your tobacco in optimal condition. The Peter Stokkebye logo is emblazoned of each jar in a champagne gold color. Keep you bulks in style with the Peter Stokkebye Ceramic Jar.
