Peterson 1865 Mixture

Rest in peace 1865 Mixture. Thanks to the FDA pretending to save us from ourselves we won't see a lot of wonderful tobacco products ever again.

Smoked 3 cans. My favorite of English blends (alsong with LJ Peretti/Boston "Smith's Own"). Very smooth, stays cool for a Virginia, with plenty of Latakia flavor.

I bought this tin several months ago and just opened it yesterday. Have now smoked two bowls in a 9mm pipe and a Nording. A very pleasant smoke, no bit and a nice Latakia blend that I will buy again. All have burned to the bottom of the bowl.

I used to predominantly smoke Dunhill blends when I was looking for a good English. Nowadays I smoke more Peterson's and have developed a love of "Wild Atlantic", "University Flake", "3P's" and "Old Dublin". The latest addition for me is this blend. It's a flavorful, satisfying blend and has become one of my go-to tobaccos. It has a good body and smokes well and little dottle left. If your a fan of "Old Doublin" or looking for something new to try, you may like this as well.
