I bought this pipe for myself as an early Christmas gift. I have been looking for a straight Bulldog for quite some time, and this one fit the bill perfectly, it looks great, and smokes beautifully. It has quickly become my favorite pipe.

Beautiful grain and finish. Large bowl provides for a long, enjoyable smoke. First P-lip for me and the stream of smoke is cool and smooth. It really is a fantastic pipe. As always, package arrived when promised. Thank you.

The Kinsale Smooth XL14 is a beautiful pipe and a wonderful smoke. There is a problem, however. Pipe cleaners do not go all the way through the airway to the bowl. With much effort, they only go as far as the tenon. To clean the airway in the briar, you have to remove the stem. This is near impossible right after smoking, and is a big "no, no". When cool, the stem can be removed with great difficulty. My question is, "How are you supposed to clean the airway in the briar right after smoking?"

Very solid large bulldog with a large bowl. I have almost finished breaking it in. I love the pipe.
