The pipe smokes well, but while breaking it in, the finish started blistering. -It now has yellow and brown spots all over it. It was a pretty pipe out of the box but for the $110, I would think it could hold up to smoking it. (it didn't get that hot) I've had better luck with a $4 Missouri Meerchum corn cob pipe.

Upon receiving my St. Patrick’s Day 2018 pipe from Peterson in Ireland was I impressed! What beautiful craftsmanship reflected in the green bowl with a bright lime green stem. Right now I plan to keep it as a showpiece. I have two other Petersons in my rotation, so I can enjoy my regular Peterson smokers. If you need a beautiful pipe as a centerpiece for your collection, snag yourself one of these Irish beauties. I’m thinking of buying another for a smoker and at P&C’s very affordable price its very doable.

Tried very hard to like this tabac but it bites too much. Oh well on to the next one.
