Peterson Sweet Killarney begins with two types of Virginias - a ribbon-cut bright and some rubbed-out flake. These tobaccos are combined with slowly-steamed black Cavendish and form the base to which a luxurious cream caramel essence is applied. The flavor is mellow and sweet with a comforting room note. Smooth and warm, Sweet Killarney is ready to sweep you away to the old sod.
Very nice tobacco. Tin note has fruit note that is very pleasant. Upon lighting, you get a very nice rush of flavor, lots of sweetness, followed by caramel later on in the bowel. This does come a little moist in the tin, so let it sit out for a few before backing. Very creamy smoke. The room note is very pleasant....will put this on the reorder list
Smokes too smooth, but has little character and flavor for me. This coming from a guy who leans toward English and general Perique blends. A good starter for someone letting go of aromatics. It was reccomended as a good virginia with loads of flavor. I can't say it lives up to that.
Burns smooth, has a really strong Cavendish come-thru on the exhale. Enjoying some right now, very wintry flavor that must be enjoyed with some strong brew. Be advised, as in my experience, this Peterson Tin like the rest to come very moist. Be sure to allow dry time before initial smoke to guarantee smooth sailing.
Not bad! Has a nice caramel aroma and a nice taste. Smokes pretty smooth too.
