Pioneer Valley Maduro

Sometimes you get what you pay for, but at other times, it feels like you paid too much. It's really rare to find a bargain that delivers far beyond what you spend, but that's exactly the case with Pioneer Valley Maduro.

These solid nicaraguan handmades sport a dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that surrounds a long-filler blend of aged tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.  There are notes of coffee, cedar and roasted nuts with a hint of sweetness. They have a nice solid feel, and the flavor lasts all the way to the nub. If you enjoy a good maduro and want an everyday cigar, Pioneer Valley Maduro will fill the bill.

Pioneer Valley is a good smoke
I was pleasntly surprised at the quality of the workmanship on this cigar. At the price, I expected much less and was pleased with the good taste and even burn.

Excellent cigar
Excellent cigar, especially for the price, packed full of tobacco, good draw, nice medium-bodied flavor. I find the cigar tastes remarkably similar to the Perdomo Fresco maduro, especially for the first third. Incidentally, I have been smoking cigars for forty five years, everything from for-real Cubans to less-than-stellar trash.

Sinfully Good!
Oh my dear Lord in Heaven, these sticks.........OMG, these sticks are way better than the price suggests. These taste like a $10 boutique cigar. Deep notes of chocolate, coffee and cedar with a sweetness that should be a sin!! Long light gray ash, burns straight as an arrow, firm at hand and a smooth firm draw. I can't wait to see how much of a flavor profile they develop after aging a while.

ery good smoke...as advertised.
Very good smoke for late afternoon or evening smoke with a strong cup of coffee or a bourbon drink.
