Prince Albert Cherry Vanilla

Over the years, P&C has sold a lot of Prince Albert Cherry Vanilla, so we were rather surprised when it was discontinued a while back. Well, apparently the folks at John Middleton heard enough people clamoring for its return that they've relented and brought it back. This smooth mixture of Burley, Virginia, and black Cavendish is finished with a combination of tangy cherry and warm vanilla flavors. If you're one of the old fans of this blend, now you can stock up again, and if you haven't tried it, now's the time.

Really good
This tobacco is smooth and tasty! This is not Prince Albert with cherry on it. This is a different animal all together. The cavendish is sweet and the burleys do dominate the taste. I detect NO vanilla just cherry but faintly. The room note is cherry though. My wife said it smells like cherry pipe tobacco. She said she likes the smell of regular Prince Albert better.

Great Product!
Prince Albert's Cherry Vanilla pipe tobacco proved to be aromatic, very smooth and arrived at the perfect moisture content and therefore burned very clean!

As pleasant a taste and an aroma that the Prince is known for this is one reliable tobacco.

Prince Albert Cherry Vanilla
I enjoyed it. It was smooth and not too hot. I thought a little too moist, but I'm new to pipe smoking, so maybe that's normal. I've got huge learning curve ahead of me.

Worth a try !
I belief the over counter drug store blends get a bad rap . We as pipe smokers are so spoiled by the variety of blends that are available to us via through the internet . Onto the review . When opening the pouch an aroma of cherry with a hint of vanilla was noticed ( obviously ) the tobacco packed well in my pipe . The first light an aroma of cherry and vanilla was pleasant , the cherry being balanced out by the vanilla . As I had smoked the bowl down the aroma and taste had remained consistent . The tobacco burned down to a white ash and no doddle at the bottom of the pipe. I have never been a cherry fan , but this blend is balanced well with the vanilla . It's worth a try !

worth trying
If you like Middleton Cherry, or if you're looking for a very mild cherry, this is it. I trust the Prince Albert name. Its not very cherry or vanilla, but is a good mild smoke. Came a bit dry, but almost perfect to smoke. Not gooey or gummy like some come. Very little bite, unlike Middleton Cherry. If you're expecting either cherry or vanilla, you might be disappointed. But if you like that mild taste of cavendish, this is pretty good.

Great Addition to the PA Tobaccos
PA Tobacco has been around for a long time. I smoked my first tin of PA back in HS in the 1950's and still do. I recently decided to try the PA Cherry Vanilla and found it to be a excellent smoke. I must admit I tasted more Vanilla and Burly than I did Cherry. It Burns easily after only one light and retains it's flavor till the end of the bowl. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any of my pipe smoking friends.

Every day aromatic
You can smoke this blend all day, every day. Will not gum up your pipe like other aromatics. Pleasant taste and aroma. Burns well and absolutely does not bite no matter how hard you smoke. You can taste the cherry and vanilla in this blend. Try a 1.5 once package of Prince Albert cherry vanilla. I think you will come back for more.

Not bad for a cherry blend, but not great
Received in a sampler pack. It was the best of the five, but none were that great. Perhaps I just don't like cherry after all. The pipe was ok, but burned a bit hot and drew bits of ash. Overall, not the best package experience, but it might just be a matter of taste.

Prince Albert Cherry Vanella
I used to smoke PA CV all the time. I was out of the US for several years and when I got back, I immediately bought some PA. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same PA as when I left. I had purchased regular PA, I couldn't find the CV. Then I read in your magazine that the CV was back in production. I"m glad for that, but it's not in 14 oz tins. Why? It is the best smoking and smelling pipe tobacco that I know of.
