The first whiff of this mixture is abrasive and also has a petrol like scent. The tobacco tasted strong and grassy. After 48 hours the scent mellowed along with the flavor. Grassiness from the Virginia became more rounded, and the cavendish added a smoothness that was slightly sweet. The orientals give the mixture a nice smoky taste. The scent was rich and satisfying. I was surprised at how this tobacco blend became so very pleasant within a few days. Breathing room and a little drying were the ticket!

Not being a fan of Cavendish and not liking Black Mallory at all, I'd had my doubts but gave this a try and more than glad that I did. The Cavendish to my taste buds is minimal at best. In point of fact; it has replaced my Night Cap which in my opinion, Peterson completely destroyed.
