Rattray's Highland Targe is a unique tobacco that's made of choice Virginias, Burley, Orientals, Cavendish, and a touch of Latakia. What makes this a standout blend is that it has a wonderful room note and a pleasantly sweet flavor. If you're a Latakia fan who's looking for a tobacco with a great aroma or an aromatic fan who wants something with a little more body and an intriguing taste, Rattray's Highland target might be just what you're looking for.
Very few Rattray's blends are still available, so I buy what's there. There are hints of the old Rattray's still present, but I miss the spectacular flavor profiles of the '70's. This was a good English blend, but not worth the extra bucks.
