Rattray's Jocks Mixture

What Americans call black Cavendish is usually made of Burley, but Europeans normally make theirs from Virginia. So when a blend from the other side of the pond contains unflavored black Cavendish, it includes what we would call stoved black Virginia. That's why people expecting a very sweet blend when they try Jocks Mixture, they're often surprised at how rich the blend is - another Rattray's classic.

Great with coffee
I’m not great at describing flavor but I can say that I love Jocks mixture with my morning coffee. Very rich yet not overpowering and it tastes good near the bottom of the bowl

Rattrays Jocks Mixture
Love it. Nice blend of Black Cavendish, Latakia, and Virginia. Just the right note of the Black Cavendish and Latakia. I noticed it was manufactured by Kohlhase & Kopp in Germany. I always thought it was manufactured in Perth Scotland. As a side note, this was the favorite blend of Dr. Russell Kirk, a famous conservative scholar and writer. He lived in Mecosta Michigan, not too far from my home.
