If you're a Latakiaphile, you're going to really enjoy Battle fo the Blends - Robust Rumble. This one has two rich and smoky bulk tobaccos going face-to-face - MATCH Evening, and Russ' Fiddlesticks. Both have plenty of Latakia, but not so much to be "lat-bombs". You'll get three ounces of each blend to try so you can select your preference. Then leave a product review and vote for your choice.
Picking between these two is tough. They are both pretty big smokes but they are very different. To be honest, I am not used to a blend like Fiddlesticks. It's spicy and smokey, occasionally sweet. Very mild latakia presence. It's mostly dancing between the Virginias and Perique, with the Perique leading.
At first I almost disliked Fiddlesticks, but after sleeping on it, I'm intrigued. Nightcap is a classic, and an old friend, but I'm glad I took the time to learn about Fiddlesticks because it's an interesting smoke.
