|Wrapper||Connecticut Broadleaf, San Andres|
Rocky Patel has been leading the charge in Washington to keep the FDA from overregulating premium cigars. He decided to make a statement along with his lobbying efforts, and here it is - Prohibition.
These cigars come packed in Rocky-branded mason jars as a nod to moonshiners during the Prohibiton era, as he wanted to remind the government how disastrous outlawing alcohol turned out.
The cigars make a statement all their own. There are two blends - a medium-bodied Connecticut Broadleaf version and a medium-full with a San Andres maduro wrapper.
The Connecticut Broadleaf toro is deep and smooth with notes of espresso, cocoa and a dark sweetness on the finish.
The San Andres version has more chocolate notes along with cedar, nuts and pepper. The finish is long and toasty.
Support Rocky's efforts in the tastiest way possible.
