When Rocky Patel introduced The Edge, I was impressed by how stout it was. Now Rocky has one that goes to a whole new level - Super Ligero.
The Honduran Habano wrapper used for Super Ligero is well-fermented, dark and oily. The filler blend uses Cuban-seed tobaccos from Nicaragua and Costa Rica to create a flavor profile that's teeming with bold notes of sweet wood, cocoa, toast, spice and a touch of white pepper. It starts out flavorful and develops all the way down, ending in a crescendo of boldness. Despite the power, this is a fairly complex cigar and is interesting the whole way through. If you're looking for a strong cigar that's got a lot going on, Super Ligero is a must-try.
