Rossi (by Savinelli) are traditionally styled briars, with a nice variety of shapes selected from the Savinelli catalog. This particular line, called Palermo, are classic shapes and are stained a rich ruby red and brought to a matte finish. The look is kept clean and simple by mating the briars with glossy black acrylic stems, known for resisting oxidation and tooth marks. Unlike their Savinelli cousins, Rossi pipes are unfiltered. This is about as clean and time-honored as a pipe gets, so if you have old fashioned tastes and want to get quality at a nice price, Rossi Palermo is a great choice.
I like the smooth smoking, right from the beginning, the comfortable intake and, just feeling grateful that I bought the pipe because, it works well and, really nice, too.
