Nicely fragrant notes of toast , Honey, Anise Vanilla which all out together give you a sweet candy corn flavor right in time for Halloween.
Very nice mixing bowl ( why they send this in a mix yourself form. Is totally beyond me. But I dealt with the inconvenience anyway.
The mixing bowl is large and I figure out some use for it. PIPES AND CIGARS I DIO APPRECIATE THE BOWL.
Mild blend much better as it gets older.
I usually pack a pipe or two up with these types of blends.tgrow them in my desk drawer and smoke them 3 or 4 days later.
Never gunts up the pipes.
This is.not only sweet but smokey.
I will add this into my holiday rotation.

I guess I am in the minority when it comes to this blend. As one other reviewer put it.... I am neutral. With the name "Candy Corn" I was expecting something different. It wasn't as sweet as I was expecting and the aroma didn't remind me of candy corn. However, I will say that it does produce a pleasant smoke. I always buy at least 2 oz when trying a new tobacco to give it a fair chance. This one just never grabbed my attention that much. But I am not worried. Russ has quite a few blends and there tons of others as well to try. That's the great thing about P&C, the options are almost endless.

This tobacco was a bit odd for me. It didn't taste great, but it didn't taste bad either. The best way I can describe it is neutral - something that is easy and generally an all-right smoke, but it didn't exactly please me either. Its come to the point that I only smoke it on rare occasions. This was my second Russ' Monthly Blend, the other being Cinnamon Roll (which I enjoy immensely). I can't say that it tasted like or smelled like Candy Corn to me, either. It wasn't even particularly sweet to my palate (which I expected it to be with a name like Candy Corn). Overall, it's a so-so blend in my opinion. Smoked well, no tongue bite, but nothing that impressed or pleased me past those two qualities.

I have to agree enthusiastically with every one of the other posters here. This blend is simply out of sight. I could smoke this exclusively and not get bored. Every time I smoke it, it just seems to get better and better.

Candy Corn is really nicely done. Food blends are very difficult to create since every smoker has their own idea of what the taste of the food being recreated should be. Candy Corn is perfect in its mellow vanilla, butter and burnt sugar taste and aroma. Russ nailed this square on the head and deserves to be tried around Halloween and Thanksgiving to set the holiday mood. Good job Russ, keep it up!!

Smokes smooth and the smell is wonderful, but not much to the taste until I got through over half the bowl, than it was pretty good. I got it in my cellar, gonna try to age it a bit. I would order more.

I prefer mild to medium blends. Have tried mostly aromatics and some English type blends. This [Candy Corn] is my go to blend now when I want something sweet and aromatic, goes good with black coffee. I got Russ's Cinnamon Roll Blend and Yule Log and between the 3 I usually pick up this when I'm tired of smoking Frog Morton's Cellar.
