Russ' Monthly Blend - Old Glory is a celebration of summer. Virginias, Burleys, and steamed black Cavendish are combined with ripe summer fruit flavors with a creamy note. Due to recent regulations, this blend is now only available as a Pre-Built Blend Kit for you to become a master blender right in your own home. Each kit, once blended, will produce 8oz of Russ' Old Glory.
Just as the name would imply this is a perfect summer time smoke, has a nice light I dare say fruity smell. I usually don't smoke in the summer,too hot, but this blend refreshes like a cup of cold fruit salad. That's the best I can do for a description you'll have to try it.

I have tried many tobaccos and none of them compares to your "Old Glory". It is a wonderful smoke and I even had a neighbor lady from 2 doors down walk down the street just to tell me how great it smelled and that her father smoked and she hoped she might convince him to try it. Russ Oullette is a master in the art and science of blending pipe tobacco! This is yet another amazing blend. I don't want to tell you too subjectively what I think this blend tastes like but it is, like most all Russ' blends a very pleasant smooth smoke with little to no tongue bite, great room note, and clean burning. One of my favorites is snow drift (which reminds me I need to order more). Keep up the great work Mr. Oullette & all at pipes & cigars.com.

I received this tobacco as part of the tobacco club subscription. And I cannot say enough good things about this tobacco. It is AMAZING! It is probably the best aromatic I have ever smoked. It is sweet without being too sweet. It base a very fresh baked berry pie flavor to it that leaves an amazing room note. And absolutely no tongue bite at all. It leaves a very sweet fruity after taste that isn't to overbearing. Thank you Russ for this great blend and I hope it's something you keep making cause this will definitely be something I will keep buying.

Ordered 4 ounces of the warm up blend. This stuff is great!! It did'nt bite at all, had a great room note and flavor and it didnt taste like ash half way through the bowl (smoked out of a savenelli venere 320). You really get the virginias coming through and a caramel taste on the back of the tongue. Awesome blend.

I received this blend in my Pipe Tobacco of the Month Club shipment for this month and I love it! With a quick dry of about ten minutes it made for a sweet, cool burning, bite free aromatic. The smell of this blend actually comes through in the flavor of the smoke. I will be enjoying this one for a while.
