The moment I opened this bag I knew it was gonna be one of my favorite monthly blends, aroma is great, and its a nice mild smoke to take a break with. Though I do wish more of the flavor came through during the smoke, there is no bite, and its not spongy wet. Good smoke to always keep on the self.

Pick up a couple of ounces of Pirate's Cove because I really enjoy trying Russ's Monthly Blend. Have smoked 5 or 6 bowls of it, the pouch smell is fantastic; really love that maple/vanilla smell. It smokes well with absolutely no bite but I am unable to pick up any of the flavor/taste, so it smokes fairly bland.

Very nice mellow smoke. Smells fantastic in the bag and the bowl, no bite the minute I opened the bag it reminded me of a smell from my grandfather but I can't put my finger on it but a very familiar aroma.
