Samuel Gawith has many varieties of Pipe Tobacco including their Cabbie's Mixture. A Virginia and Perique twist hand rolled tobacco that is then hand sliced. smells delicious like apricots, the coins are all small easy to break up. it is a bit moist and I think it needs a good bit of drying time to avoid the dreaded tongue burn. I'd like to put age on it and see what happens in a couple of years. that's my plan for my most recent tin. I am quite pleased with all of the SG blend I have tried.

This will burn right out of the tin but I was not happy with the flavor until it was somewhat on the dry side. Then, it was a balanced, pleasant smoke.

This tobacco offers an excellent departure from my passion for Latakia blends. Cabbie's is a real treat with a lot of flavor from light to ash and for me very mild smoke. Will be in my rotation for sure.
