|Room Note||2 - Mellow|
Fire Dance Flake is made by beginning with Samuel Gawith's classic Best Brown Flake which is enhanced with a singular combination of blackberry, brandy and vanilla essences. The flavor is mellow and slightly sweet, while the room note is very enjoyable. This is a very rich aromatic with a mellower flavor than the aroma would indicate. Fire Dance Flake was named after the nickname of the pipe smoker for whom it was created.
Very mild and flavorful flake tobacco
I'm a big fan of this tobacco. When you first crack it open, you get a really strong whiff of the blackberry and brandy, and you think "Oh, this is going to be way too much." Trust me, it's not. The flavor is actually rather light as aromatics go, and the room note is about medium. It smells strongest in the can, medium in the room and lightest on the tongue. Don't ask me how. It's a great smelling tobacco and I get compliments when I smoke it.
Definitely a cool and different smoke. If you like flakes with some flavor this is it. Really the only berry flavored tobacco I have really enjoyed. I can taste every flavor described on the tin. Enjoy a cool change of pace!
My first flake and I love it. This is now in my rotation. I'm a new pipe smoker and would recommend this for beginners. One flake (Rubbed-out) will fill a medium bowl. Smoked right out of the tin and transferred rest to a mason jar. You'll get many smokes in a small tin. Might need to relight during a new bowl. A little wet but tastes awesome....
One of my favorite flakes, what a nice smooth smoke. Well done Samuel Gawith. What a wonderful taste.

My 1st time smoking a Flake style tobacco. I might never smoke anything else ! This is VERY enjoyable ! Nice blackberry flavor, and STRONG tobacco compared to my normal bulk cherry flavored tobaccos. Emmmmm.
