Samuel Gawith Perfection

I was expecting much more of a robust flavor. I found this blend to be very very mild . I couldn't really taste much of anything until I smoked it out of one of .y meershim pipes . Then still way too mild

Samuel Gawaith has some really good blends . top shelf tobacco. more tobacco than flavoring and smokes perfectly. this is a great tobacco and yes you do get the vanilla but this isn't the soupy flavored tobaccos. I also like Handsome Flake as well as the Fire Dancer. P&C gets them in but they go extremely quick .. that alone says way more than i can about these blends.. Truly 5 Star Tobacco

…but it’s danged good. My first bowl of this was almost my last, but I won’t dismiss a blend after only one bowl. Maybe my expectations were reset, but the second bowl was better. By the fifth bowl I was converted. This would be good occasional change of pace. Tenth bowl - OK, maybe more than occasional. End of tin - I gotta get more of this, but it’s out of stock. Next SG drop, I’m buying the limit.

I can taste the English but whatever the topping is I didn't get vanilla from it. It was almost like a liqueur flavoring. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought.

With a name like perfection that's bold I think it lives up to the name very good will reorder

Have smoked Perfection and Squadron leader for years, Perfection blend is Mild and good. Latakia gives it a nice finish and has a pleasant smell.
