Samuel Gawith Sam's Flake is a pressed Virginia Flake to which a generous portion of Turkish tobaccos have been added, bringing in a woody, spicy, and slightly floral note. The flake is finished with a tonquin note, which comes across as a vanilla with some spice and botanicals. Easy on the tongue and palate, Sam's Flake is one of the more unique flake tobaccos available.
One of my favorites. great taste and a cool burn. only hoped it came in a box so I could age some of this. 250G box note sold in states but it is in the UK.

Not bad... easy to rub out, and burns cool... nice, rich flavor and doesn't burn hot too easily. Not as complex as Friebourg and Treyer Vintage flake, but a good substitute. Has a refined, pleasant sweetness to the aroma and the taste.
