Savinelli Menta Pipes is a new addition to their culinary-inspired lines, such as Caramella. The name Menta is Italian for "mint", which refers to the cream and soft green color of the acrylic stems. The smooth, glossy briars have a deep, rich red stain, which is a nice contrast to the stems, and a coordinated trim ring really sets these pipes off. The stems will accept the vaunted Savinelli 6mm balsa filters and come with an adapter for unfiltered use. One especially nice thing is that this line includes their new 321 shape, which is a lighter, smaller version of their super-popular 321 (author) shape. To those who love the shape of the 321 but find them too bulky, the 321 is a great choice. As a finishing touch, Savinelli includes a windscreen fashioned after a tea-strainer for protecting your pipe during outdoor use.
