Scotty's Bulk Blends - Bluegill Lake is a great choice for sitting on the dock or the shore will a line in the water waiting for those scrappy little fish to bite. It's a smooth and not-too-sweet blend of bright Virginia, nutty white Burley, and silky black Cavendish. The, for flavor and aroma, a warm vanilla essence is added, along with the flavor of fresh fruits. The taste is so refreshing that you'll have to try to concentrate enough to keep your eye on the bobber.
Amazing easy aromatic smoke. Great room notes, no bite, burns even and no bitterness all the way down the bowl. All the Scotty's blends are great but the "fishing" blends are a no brainer. Loved Salmon, Bass and now Bluegill is my new favorite.

All of Scotty's blends that I have tried are exceptional; Bluegill Lake included. I only gave it three stars because while being very good, it doesn't match up to Trout Stream. This blend smells and taste great with no tongue bite.

As a fly fisherman who LOVES catching bluegills and other assorted panfish, I had to jump on this blend!
It is smooth, mild, and fragrant. I love it as a change-of-pace option to my regular dose of Latakia. When bluegill start spawning in the Spring, trees and flowers are blooming, and nature smells wonderful. Scotty's Bluegill Lake blend reminds me of that Spring aroma.
