Seattle Pipe Club Galloping Gertie is one of the more unique blends you'll come across. It's a Virginia/Perique blend, but it has a lot more going on. For one thing, some of the Virginias are stoved until black. Then, to make things even more intriguing, some Turkish tobacco is added. Finally, the mixture is pressed into a crumble cake to marry and further mature the flavors. It's all here - sweet, spicy, earthy, and savory flavors will treat your palate to an experience you won't soon forget...
A good smoke. Long lasting and easy taste with no bite. I enjoyed it.

After a long hiatus from Seattle Pipe Club Blends I came across this with curiosity. I was a huge fan of Mississippi River's flavor, so I wanted to give this a go. The smoke is well balanced, and full flavored. Earthy and satisfying.

Dark, spicy, earthy, figgy smoothness with slight tangy, grass / hay flavors. Phenomenal blend, added a tin to one of my normal orders... bought 3 more as soon as I was through the first. I really enjoy the lack of Latakia in this one from SPC.

Not as eventful as some of the Va/Pers out there. Tastes amazing but burns hot with some bite. Sutliff Krumble Kake Va/Per is so much better.

Personally I felt a lot of SPC blends were just variations of Plum Pudding which isn’t BAD, plum pudding is my favourite blend. However this blend is totally different! And DELICIOUS. A Vaper with some DELICIOUS orientals that perfectly round out the sweet and sour giving it a delicious savoury nature. HIGHLY recommend
