Solani Blend 633 Virginia Flake with Perique uses superior grades of bright flue-cured tobaccos layered with zesty Louisiana Perique and is firmly pressed. After being given time for the tobaccos to marry and mature, it's sliced into easy-to-prepare flakes. Solani 633 pipe tobacco is a slow burning blend with a natural sweetness and inviting aroma. This flake-cut tobacco is one to enjoy any time of day especially with the low everyday prices you’ll find on Solani and all our other pipe tobacco brands here at P&C.

Enough has been known and written about this recipe for the experienced pipe enthusiast to know the place of honor it holds. For those less experienced with flakes, specifically Virginia with fine Perique, this also is a best case transition (i am told), away from inhalation types of smoking as it seems to deliver enough nicotine punch for those specifically. It burns so slowly , that this diminutive tin out-lasts seemingly larger quantities of other blends. It is also full bodied in flavor, so draw in moderation .

Excellent tobaco
Solani 633 is one of my favorite blands tobacco. I would name it quintessential bland for daily use and a must for Virginia lovers.

I haven't heard anything bad about this blend, and I can't think of anything negative to say. One of my very favorites.

A good anytime VaPer...
I wanted to give this 3 stars because it was not exceptional in any way... except almost .. the price. I gave it 4 stars because it is good in every way. Cool burn, great fold n stuff in my country gentleman. The Virginias, as said in other posts... are fresh, crisp, and supported by (not in support of...) perique, which is really only there on the retrohale, and in the back of the tin note. I did not want to like this Vaper.. i love Dunhill DNR and Elizabethan for their eventual bread-like qualities. This is quite a different take on the VaPer genre in that i feel it showcases the virginias primarily. I can imagine with some age this stuff will be like candy. I will get more and hope i can stay out of it. The room note is pleasant and I have gone through this tin faster than any other of the 20ish tobacco's I've tried thus far.

Champagne in a flake!
I have smoked over 20 Vapers and this is not just my current favorite of the variety but my current favorite tobacco. The Virginias are excellent the perique is just noticeable to start and only builds slightly through the bowl. The flakes are ready to easily rub out and smoke right out of the tin. If Solani makes a bad flake I haven't smoked it yet. ABF and Mango Flake are great as well, do your self a solid and pick up a tin of each.
