Seattle Pipe Club Columbia River

This is a nice slow burning pipe tobacco that has quickly become one of my favorites. I’m not one who can pick out this flavor or that. Maybe my taste buds are too old. I just concentrate on the blend as a whole and this is one I really like.

This was paired with Daughters & Ryan William's Delight for a "duel" so to speak. I must say Columbia River beats the William's hands down, but I'm an aromatic freak. It had a wonderful tin note, but can't say about a room note since I smoke out doors. This is a mellow, smooth smoke with no bite. It's got a nutty hint to it, but couldn't really taste anything. I would definitely buy more of this.

This blend is very smooth and has a great taste. I really enjoy a bowl of Columbia River while sitting on my porch at night.

Most pleasant smoking tobacco

I like the smooth smoke, and my wife enjoys the aroma (so I don't get kicked out of the house when I have my evening smoke).

A pleasant smoke and almost bite free.

I really like this. To me, it seems like a supercharged version of Lane 1-Q. Appears to be a better quality of tobacco, burns better and tastes better. Will keep this in my rotation.

This is my 'go to' indoor tobacco. It has a pleasant flavor, nice room note and is 'wife approved'. The tin that I got required a bit of drying time, but after that was done, it smoked and stayed lit well with little to no bite.

New favorite! This pipe tobacco just keeps me coming back for more, more & more! A great balance, no tongue bite, tasty, with an excellent room note. It's among my all time favorites now!

Delicious flavor, and the smoke sits well in the mouth--good enough to savor and practice your smoke rings; superb room note (everyone loves it, and even the health police don't get all exorcised over it), not goopy or overly sweet. Very mild, with just a slight nic kick. I've been smoking it for several months, and it has become a favored part of my rotation. I smoke mainly Peterson p-lips, Stanwells, four meerschaums and a few prized cheapo no-names--one of which is an old Captain Black mail order from many years ago.

I enjoy a mild aromatic tobacco, and SPC's Columbia River is everything I hoped for. It smokes cool, with no tongue bite, it has a nice mellow room note, and the tin note is sweet vanilla.

A great blend! Mild with a fine taste and aroma.
