Having gone into shock with the disappearance of McClelland’s wonderful variety of English and Oriental tobaccos (Arcadia, Blue Mountain, all the Froggies, etc., I have been searching for some new choices. I have liked a number of the SPC tobaccos (Mississippi River, Plum Pudding, Seattle evening) so I’ve tried this. It has some real tang in the taste and will, I think, become a choice for the future. But I wish Russ would take his creative skills to recreating some of those wonderful McClelland tobaccos.

Although I am relatively new to pipe smoking and have mostly smokes whiskey tobaccos, I have thoroughly enjoyed Seattle Pipe Club’s Snoqualmie Falls. Very little drying needed. Very smooth enjoyable smoke (especially with bourbons).
