The name is De Luxe for a reason. Stanwell is very selective when it come to this series of pipes. The Black Sandblast pipes all show deep detail in the craggy texturing of the wood, and a slightly glossy black finish highlights every facet.

Nice 5.6 in Oval stem Canadian sitter pipe. Flow is excellent from the beginning which is my experience with Stanwells that I already own and one reason I come back to them. Italy is doing an excellent job.
If this pipe has one consideration its the smaller bit which is not as plush as a fishtail 03 model but inline with the style albeit on the smaller side.
Nice enough blast and I do like the Black finish. This pipe is classic in design and Im happy with it. Brandy bowl is a little more substantial than the billiard and a nice variation. Box and Sock.
