its tiny little pipe but something very special to it. it smokes amazing regardless whatever tobacco you put in it. requires almost no relight and burns very efficiently. love this little guy, perfect for a quick 15 minutes of pleasure!

Have really been enjoying the Featherweight pipes from Stanwell. Sometimes I don't have a full 30/45 minutes for a big bowl of tobacco when I'm at work, so these have been superb for that small 15/20 minute break. I am a huge Stanwell fan (received my first one as a 30th birthday present...over twenty years ago), so I knew the Featherweights would be superb quality as well. Top-notch designs and smoke-ability, for sure. I think the pipes have "officially" made me put down the cigs at this point in my life, and I am thankful for that.

Nice little lightweight pipe. Not as good quality as the old Stanwells, but happy nonetheless.

If you want a very small and lightweight pipe, this is perfect. It smokes like a charm.

The Featherweight is super light and the most comfortable pipe I’ve used so far. It does get a little warm so I’m curious to see how well it will hold up over time. I love the color and style. It will be tough to beat!

I am once again a happy customer. This lightweight short smoke pipe is a dream to smoke. I spent decades of my life avoiding small pipes. Thanks to the Featherweight I'm a convinced convert. It smokes dry and cool and longer than I thought it would given its size. Great for a short smoke. It's sandblast design gives ample surface area to keep the smoke cool and avoids the bite one finds in a hot pipe. I'm very happy with this one.

This is a small, light pipe, so please look closely at the dimensions before ordering. For me, it's perfect! I like a light pipe that is in my mouth all day long while I work. I'm also a denture wearer, so the weight of the pipe is wonderful! This is not my first Stanwell, and as in all the ones (3) I own, the workmanship and smoking qualities are very good. I'm having a fling with Captain Black Copper and it tastes great in this pipe. I do a lot of relights, but that's only me forgetting to take a "pull"! A good investment in a very good pipe. As always, P&C service and delivery is exceptional! The best pipe and tobacco shop out there!

Featherweight Black 245 (poker): Handsome, Rustic Charm. I can picture myself saying something profound while smoking it, like, “They say you're a hard put and desperate man, Josey Wales. They're goin' to heel and hide you to a barn door. You know what I say? I say that big talk's worth doodly-squat.” I bought this poker for quick smoke at break time at work. It draws like a flue. Not surprising, since it’s shaped like a chimney, eh? I was worried that it might smoke hot (deep chamber, short stem), and it could. But the problem is easily resolved by placing your thumb over the rim for a hal’ second when it starts to heat a little, thus depriving the fire of O2. Try 1.5 second as fire gets toward the heel. A tenderfoot could control the fire with this method. Another method is to shove a stiff, 1”diameter pipe screen halfway down the chamber. Good method if you have short work breaks. Great ergonomics. I love the feel of this in the hand. Easy to hang on to, unlike some pots that slip around in the hand. It comes with a nice cloth pouch. Small and light, so you won’t even notice you’re carrying it. And, it’s easy on the pocketbook. I would give it 5 stars. But like a figure skating judge, I want to hold something in reserve for that perfect performance. But, it’s a, “Buy It,” from me.

This pipe is a "Featherweight" so expect it to be light. The bowl diameter of 0.7" is not large so if you are looking for a long, satisfying bowlful after work, it probably won't suit you. I use it as a traveler, handy and easy to pack. The 3-stars is simply because it doesn't hold a lot of tobacco and the lightweight is, oddly, more difficult to handle in one's mouth. Overall quality is good but I just like a heavier piece.

This is my first poker, but my 4th Stanwell pipe. I absolutely love it. Great for a quick smoke.

I enjoy this pipe now that I have made the stem hole bigger. The pipe kept clogging as soon as I would use it. I finally used a tool to make it a little wider, and now it is fine.
