It starts with choice Virginia tobaccos from three different continents, with their hay-like, bready sweetness, and a touch of citrus. These tobaccos are heat-pressed to mature the flavor and then stored in apple brandy barrels for 30 days to infuse the tobaccos with an outstanding schosche of sweetness and a fruitiness that comes out in the gentle. amazing aroma. A nice smooth smoke. The apple brandy is a lovely subtle flavor that swims in and out. I am glad I have a few tins to enjoy.

A nice treat or regular rotation blend in my book. Dark pressed Virginia is mildly sweet with some dark fruity flavors showing through. Makes me think a bit of McClelland Dark Navy Flake and like that it burns cool for a Virginia and burns long too. The time in the apple brandy barrel just adds a hint of flavor, a touch of apple tang and in general reminds me of the smell of cider in the fall. Very enjoyable but unfortunately limited to 4400 tins, I have tin 20 of 4400
