For the record, my favorite English blend is Maltese Falcon (which is why I this only 4 stars), and this blend has some of the same strong Latakia notes that put it right up there as a great English blend.
Despite what the name implies, this blend is not all that heavy, but is a robust, easy-smoking blend that is perfect for a relaxing smoke at midday or evening.
Since it's a bulk blend, the price to performance ratio is almost unbeatable.

Nice and smoky A little harsh and dry upon arrival but once rehydrated with a little bit of distilled water and a month in the jar and became a wonderful enjoyable English blend.

This is the best English blend I have been looking for. It's not strong as the name suggest, very good smoke for the whole day or just to relax after a hard day. No bite what so ever and burns to the bottom tasting great the whole way.... Recommend highly
