The smell of maple that you smell after first opening the bag is a slice of heaven on itself! A mild body smoke i feel but the nuttiness and flavor is awesome! I look forward to enjoy this on a winters day, not that it is a seasonal smoke but, winter is the image I conjure when I smell and taste this! Will be a staple for me.

New pipe smoker...I've tried over 30 brands and maple walnut is the ONLY one that tops Cap't. Black. It is now my all-time favorite !

I have been smoking this blend now for over nine months now and it has become my favorite over other brands that I have smoked for years now. You would have to try this Tobacco to really understand what a great pleasure I get from it. First there is absolutely no tongue bite whatsoever the aroma left behind is soft and enjoyable even to my neighbors when they come to my door they think I am having pancakes with maple syrup. Sometimes I can't wait to eat breakfast and go outside with my coffee and smoke a bowl just to enjoy the morning and think about what I might do today. I don't recommend this to anyone cause I have had to wait to place a order cause they where out of stock. Now I keep two pounds in reserve just incase I see they are out again. So buy it if must but remember there are others who love this Tobacco more than food. I will be buying this Tobacco for as long as I smoke a pipe. Have a good day. .

For aromatics, I'm big on vanilla (e.g., vs. cherry, whiskey, etc.), but tried this for a change. Wow, am I impressed! The aroma is wonderfully maple and the you can actually taste the walnut. I smoked an ounce in a week and am buying more. I usually try not to smoke indoors, but I love the room note this leaves behind.

I tried this combination Tobacco just because I was looking for a mild flavored smoke and I found it. I recommend this as a early morning smoke or a late night smoke. Has a real nice bouquet left in the room and a mild pleasant taste on the tongue. I will be buying it again in bulk the next time, and recommend it for anyone just starting out or like myself those just wanting something to add to their Tobacco collection.

First time purchasing an aromatic tobacco that’s not from the drug store. Beginner pipe smoker, tried two other aromatics but this is my favorite. Smooth and easy to smoke. Smells like maple.

It's almost if not just as good as Scotty's salmon River and almost half the price

Great for cold days, or evenings. Solid maple flavor, without too much artificial flavorings. Has it’s place, but not a common smoke.

I seem to have problem with Sutliff blends tried a few and they all seemed to smoke hot but I am a heavy puffer. Other people seem to enjoy them .

Love this blend , smells great as soon as you open the bag and tastes like it smells, wife liked it too. A cool smoke used it all day didnt have to mix it with anything. I will be back for more.

Strong maple aroma but the walnut is still present. Very pleasant. People are constantly saying, ‘mmm, what do you have in there?’

Not sure if I received a bad batch, but 8 oz of Sutliff Maple Walnut I received was not Maple Walnut. It was not aromatic at all.

I originally was going for another tobacco, but it was out of stock so I figured I'd give this a try and boy was I glad I did. There isn't as much Maple as I would have liked, but it does leave a wonderful room note and my wife says my bread always smells like smoke and maple afterwards. The way I would describe this is a nice bit of maple with this interesting after bite that reminds me of the after taste you get after eating Walnuts. That little bit of nutty bitterness with the fore front of Maple. In the end I'm glad I bought this and can't wait to compare it to other Maple blends out there. Also on a side note it may have felt a little wet, but it never really felt overly sticky like some Aro's can.

Nice maple flavor. Don't really taste much of the wallnut . All in all a nice mild blend you could smoke all day.

This is the best aromatic that I've tried. It tastes just like it smells, and it tastes really good all the way through the bowl. It's an unbelievably good smoke.

The room note of Maple Walnut is like entering an International House Of Pancakes restaurant or Waffle House. The scent of the tobacco in the bag is exactly the same as the delicious maple flavor of the smoke. I've been smoking a pipe for over 40 years and have yet to graduate from my preferred aromatic blends to English. And it's flavorful tobacco like Sutliff's Maple Walnut that keeps me a steadfast aromatic smoker.

Smells like pancakes and maple syrup. The taste is good and lasts most of the way through the bowl. The note follows me into the house.

Mild and sweet with a nice maple flavor but not too strong.

Just a little sweetness to it and a very pleasant smell to it. Smelling the tobacco is like smelling maplesyrup. Would recommend this to anyone.

I would recommend this one! Tastes like a variety of quality mixed nuts, nose like a pancake breakfast. I'll be ordering more!
