Great flavor and taste.
Item was ordered for my wife's Uncle, he was quite excited to have Maple flavored tobacco again. As this particular flavor is quite difficult to obtain in Mexico. He enjoyed the tobacco throughly and has asked for more...

Can you tell me how to Maple Street?
Pipe smoking should be an indulgent, aromatic experience 4 the smoker, as well as anyone walking through the room. This tobacco delivers that and more. No bite, a delightfully sweet maple flavor that's not overpowering, and one of the best room notes in the business. It's the perfect after dinner smoke on a cold Winter's Night.

Maple Street tobacco is very tasty as well as Molto Dolce. Both are very sweet kinda like a cinnamon roll in the morning.
Pipes and Cigars customer service is top notch. plan on doing more business when possible !

Maple Street + Molto Dolce, mixed 50/50 = WINNER!!!!!
Molto Dolce + Maple Street = Fantastic blend! I mixed one 'tin' of Maple Street with one of Molto Dolce (both from Sutliff) and wound up with a no bite, good tasting and GREAT smelling aromatic. As another reviewer commented, "They compliment each other amazingly and it really helps with the moisture of the Molto Dolce." It's my every day smoke from now on. Thanks for the great website and useful reviews!!!

A sipper
Really good tobacco and over all maple flavor. To get the best flavor without the heat and bite though you definitely have to sip it but good over all!

Great Maple
This is the first maple tobacco that I will make sure I have around at all times. Lights easy, smokes great, and my wife loves the smell.

A nice aromatic.
I was scared this would taste like a McGriddle when I ordered it, but it it did not. I'm an aromatic lover, and I found the rum and maple casings to be well balanced with the natural flavors of the burley and Virginia tobaccos. Smooth, but smoked on the hot side.

Newbie pipe smoker.
very nice aroma, not very much maple smell or taste to me it was very mild but the room note is pleasing. this was only my 2nd pipe smoking experience so I can't compare it to others or give a in-depth review but I will most likely continue to buy unless i find a stronger maple tobacco. It was enjoyable

Taking a stroll down Maple Street
Great overall smoke. This was one of the first tobaccos I purchased over a year ago and I keep coming back. Don't get me wrong, I still try lots of others, but I keep this one on hand. It has a great room note that always draws compliments. It has a great sweet maple taste and not overpowered by the rum. It is perfect for autumn evenings sitting on the back porch watching the leaves fall. I would highly recommend this one, especially if you're searching for maple.

Good Morning blend with some Coffee.
First Time Smoking Sutliff Private Stock Maple Street, For A aromatic it's ok. No big wow factor. The room note is pleasant, The smoke is cool and mellow. I was able to light and burn right out of the tin, No waiting for moisture to dry. The taste reminds me of Breakfast with pancakes and syrup. I can see it being a good Morning smoke with Coffee, has some tartness on the tongue, but no bite to mention. Not a bad blend, but I like more flavorful Tobaccos, its hard to get good taste out of Aromatics when I am so used to full bodied blends.

Not impressed sorry to say. Burned hot for me right out of the tin and had a bite. Sticking with Autumn Evening.
Customer Testimonials
A nice smoke. Fine on its own or as a great mixing blend. Enjoy it it the mornings after breakfast and/or with coffee. Will stock up for October...
Smells like maple syrup-infused rum. The smoke is quite light, and doesn't bite very much at all. It's moist out of the tin, however, and may require a few relights. A decent room note. Sweet like Captain Black. Low nicotine content. Quite sweet.
Another great maple tobacco,I say maple because I really don't notice to much rum flavoring although I can smell it when I open the can. It burns nicely and doesn't give me any bite unless I really puff hard, also has a great room note for those non smokers that hang around.
Received this as a sampler years ago and keep coming back for more! Sweet tasting with an ever so light bite, it's a great smoke. It's a great mixture of maple and rum aroma. Packed properly, it provides for a good, long session. Many who I smoke around want to try it and usually get hooked. I recommend this to everyone with a sweet tooth.
An exceptionally crafted, light bodied smoke. Perfect for this coming Fall. Yes, this aromatic does taste pretty spot on to what the name implies. Highly recommended to any pipe smoker who wants a great seasonal smoke.
Opening the tin you get a strong rum smell. Needs no drying time. Perfect as is. Smoked in a new MM Eaton pipe. Not a lot going on in the first quarter, but then hints of Maple kick in and stays with you till the end. A little bit of Rum taste, but it stays in the back. Stays very well lit. A great all day smoke. Great taste for you, great smell for others. I don't doubt that people people will hang around you just so you can blow smoke in their face.
If you are looking for a good Maple aromatic, this is it. I have tried several and none of them actually tasted of maple, at least to me. This blend is mild and mellow, with a delicious light aroma of maple. I believe this blend consists primarily of burley, which is another plus for me.
I love aromatics and this stuff does not disappoint! Great tin note. Smells like maple syrup with a slight rum aroma. Smokes smooth and flavorful with no bite. One of my new favorites!
The aromatic of this blend is exceptional. I do not taste the rum until the aftertaste when I finish the bowl. The maple flavor is exceptional and I would recommend this to any smoker who likes a good aromatic.
Some say Maple Street has no bite. For me Maple Street has enough bite to not want to smoke alone. Other then that, Maple Street has a good full-flavor prefect for blending.
