|Room Note||3 - Balanced|
Maple Street will feel comfortingly familiar to people who used to enjoy House of Windsor's Mapleton or Lane's Rum & Maple. A blend of bright Virginia and white Burley is infused with a warm maple note and accented by a splash of rum - old-fashioned, enjoyable anytime. Take a stroll down Maple Street.
A nice smoke. Fine on its own or as a great mixing blend. Enjoy it it the mornings after breakfast and/or with coffee. Will stock up for October...
Smells like maple syrup-infused rum. The smoke is quite light, and doesn't bite very much at all. It's moist out of the tin, however, and may require a few relights. A decent room note. Sweet like Captain Black. Low nicotine content. Quite sweet.
Another great maple tobacco,I say maple because I really don't notice to much rum flavoring although I can smell it when I open the can. It burns nicely and doesn't give me any bite unless I really puff hard,also has a great room note for those non smokers that hang around.
Received this as a sampler years ago and keep coming back for more! Sweet tasting with an ever so light bite, it's a great smoke. It's a great mixture of maple and rum aroma. Packed properly, it provides for a good, long session. Many who I smoke around want to try it and usually get hooked. I recommend this to everyone with a sweet tooth.
An exceptionally crafted, light bodied smoke. Perfect for this coming Fall. Yes, this aromatic does taste pretty spot on to what the name implies. Highly recommended to any pipe smoker who wants a great seasonal smoke.
Opening the tin you get a strong rum smell. Needs no drying time. Perfect as is. Smoked in a new MM Eaton pipe. Not a lot going on in the first quarter, but then hints of Maple kick in and stays with you till the end. A little bit of Rum taste, but it stays in the back. Stays very well lit. A great all day smoke. Great taste for you, great smell for others. I don't doubt that people people will hang around you just so you can blow smoke in their face.
If you are looking for a good Maple aromatic, this is it. I have tried several and none of them actually tasted of maple, at least to me. This blend is mild and mellow, with a delicious light aroma of maple. I believe this blend consists primarily of burley, which is another plus for me.
I love aromatics and this stuff does not disappoint! Great tin note. Smells like maple syrup with a slight rum aroma. Smokes smooth and flavorful with no bite. One of my new favorites!
The aromatic of this blend is exceptional. I do not taste the rum until the aftertaste when I finish the bowl. The maple flavor is exceptional and I would recommend this to any smoker who likes a good aromatic.
Some say Maple Street has no bite. For me Maple Street has enough bite to not want to smoke alone. Other then that, Maple Street has a good full-flavor prefect for blending.
