Back in 2011, Pete Johnson's Tatuaje Cigars made an experimental blend that featured a San Andres wrapper. They only made 500 bundles and sold them to retailers in Florida and New England, but once those 500 bundles were gone, the Tatuaje Mexican Experiment was done. Fast forward to 2019 and it's back with the name Tatuaje Mexican Experiment II (ME II).
A gorgeous, dark San Andres maduro wrapper is spun around a Nicaraguan binder and long-fillers, specially selected for this blend. A full-on full-bodied cigar, it has rich notes of coffee, cocoa, wood, earth, and pepper. Coming in four popular shapes, Tatuaje Mexican Experiment II will hold your attention from first light all the way down to the nub. Once you try one, you'll always want to have some in your humidor.
