There's a lot to like with this Ted's Bent Author. It's an author that isn't as chunky as a Savinelli 320, so if that characteristic turns you off, this pipe will please you. It has nice flame grain around the bowl and some attractive birdseye on the bottom and is in overall good shape. The downsides? There are two noticeable fills on the shank, there's a minor touch of rim darkening, and a couple of dimples and a bit of chatter on the stem, but for the price you'll pay for a pipe with a good amount of wood in the bowl, it's easy to overlook the small issues.
