Time for another trip to the vault...
The Torano family has a book, and within resides an number of experimental blends that, for one reason or another, never made it to market. Once in a while, when they get a hankering to come up with something new, they look in the book to see if a blend jumps out at them. This time it was blend L-075 (Teal), and it's certainly different than anything they've done before.
A Nicarguan Sun Grown wrapper, with a rich, nut-brown color is the first thing you see besides the bold black, silver and teal band. Lying beneath is an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and long-fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican along with some Broadleaf. The flavor profile is leathery and spicy with hints of coffee and pepper. These medium-bodied gems will have you dreaming of what other secret reside in the book.
