Trader Jack's Kickin' Cigars - Midnight is a departure for this popular brand. Their other two cigar sport a golden Connecticut Shade wrapper, but for this go-round it's swapped for a dark Connecticut Broadleaf capa. It still has a sweetened cap and an infusion of tropical flavors, but the darker wrapper adds body, depth, and a bit more sweetness to the mix. Bought a bag if these and the original. Have the same issue with both bags. Draw is super tight, I usually end up smoking a quarter of one and letting it sit for a bit then coming back and it tends to be loose enough to smoke, but the flavor changes alot, although I kind of prefer the newer flavor after. Some a harder to cut then others. The few I've had that smoked good from the start have been fairly good for what it is though.

Really nice cigars for the price. Smoke a little uneven but not too bad. Added flavor complements the natural cigar very well. Will probably buy again. I’ve tried all three and all are tasty.
